job Description
The Political Organizer is responsible for recruitment, training, and mobilization of grassroots activists to work on issue-based and electoral organizing campaigns. Help engage voters and volunteers during this historic campaign season!
Qualifications:
Applicants need an ability to motivate diverse groups of people; a demonstrated commitment to economic and social justice; accountability to goals; a willingness to learn new skills and ideas; a willingness to be self-motivated and self-critical; and a willingness to work hard. Organizing experience is preferred but not required. Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged.
Additional Qualifications:
Applicants must have a passion for economic and social justice.
Previous experience in community organizing, union organizing, or political campaigns is preferred but not required.
Spanish language ability is also preferred but not required.
