Under the supervision of the Supervisor of By-law and Licensing this position will assist Municipal Enforcement Services with the research and development of policies and procedures for the department.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct research on projects;
Coordinate staff input on projects;
Work collaboratively with the parking control, parking operations and by-law services staff to map the existing processes and procedures;
Draft new and update existing content in policy, procedural and training documents;
Provide day to day front-line customer service in the Municipal Enforcement Services office, responding to public inquiries and complaints and visitor inquiries and requests;
Coordinate with staff and update SharePoint and the Municipal Enforcement website;
Administrative support on enforcement projects and initiatives;
Other duties as assigned.


Currently enrolled in or a graduate of public policy, political sciences or related discipline;
One year of experience in municipal government in enforcement, administration, public policy or legal;
Proficient in Work, Excel, PowerPoint. AMANDA experience would be an asset;
Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective relationships with internal staff and customer service;
Flexible and able to prioritize tasks and manage timelines in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring accuracy.
