Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Strategic Research Analyst to work with a team that develops and executes research and analysis of relevant competitors and operational landscapes to inform organizational strategies and investments. This role supports network partners in pursuit of a free and open society through a variety of focus areas, including political, policy, and grassroots community organizing.

Perform internet research, monitor social media, and conduct searches through subscription and open source tools and databases
Establish research systems to keep abreast of updates and media related to a designated customer or focus area
Prepare briefs and products for dissemination to network partners and decision-makers
Share knowledge proactively within team to maximize value and collaboration
Own project focus areas, identify strategies that affect grassroots customers, and identify opportunities for customers to create value

Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required
Research and/or analytical experience required
Strong writing and critical thinking skills required
Political or grassroots experience strongly preferred
Interest in community-building preferred
Familiarity with competitive analysis preferred
Strong customer focus, empathy, and ability to anticipate needs
Ability to take initiative, collaborate, and work independently
Familiarity with and commitment to free-market principles
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Self-starter attitude and high sense of urgency
