Salary: £33,597 - £38,538
2 year fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension
This is an opportunity for an intelligent, ambitious individual with experience in the fields of policy and partnership working. You should have excellent experience of working with communities, businesses and partners to influence and develop effective and innovative projects. The role requires a genuine commitment to improved public services and outcomes for the people of the West Midlands in support of the directly elected Police and Crime Commissioner.
You’ll have experience of working in a policy analysis and developmental role, a proven ability to influence others and knowledge of the policy making processes that surround community safety.
You’ll have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and be adept at communicating persuasively with a wide range of audiences.
You will be joining the organisation at an exciting stage of its development and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and friendly team delivering the West Midlands Police and Crime Plan. You must also be able to work on your own initiative, be able to support and develop projects and initiatives which may cover a range of issues, and produce high quality briefings and reports which will contribute to the delivery of the Commissioner’s key priorities.
