Senior Fellows Shape and Execute Critical Work in a Critical Time
MoveOn is a progressive, grassroots force with millions of engaged members playing pivotal roles resisting the toxic agenda of the Trump Administration. In our 20-year history, we have banded together to build a country where everyone can thrive -- a country and society marked by justice, sustainability, economic security, peace, and mutual care. We focus our resources on work that can have lasting impact, and operate with a commitment to excellence, nimbleness, and equity.
We are a pillar of the Resistance movement, mobilizing opposition to Trump and the GOP’s toxic agenda (e.g., help lead efforts to defend health care, stop any new U.S. wars, fight for a Clean Dream Act, and oppose tax cuts for big corporations and the rich). We are resolved to make the 2018 elections a turning point, helping Democrats win the House to block President Trump & Republicans from causing any more harm, while also electing down-ballot progressive champions to create progressive change simultaneously at the local level across the country.
MoveOn is seeking senior-level talent in this crucial election year to join our political team. MoveOn’s Senior Fellows closely integrate with the work of the Campaign and Communication teams, are treated as full team members, and are external representatives of MoveOn to the world. The Senior Political Strategy Fellow will collaborate closely with relevant MoveOn campaigners and other staff, and will communicate regularly with MoveOn’s Executive Directors. This position will report to the Washington Director.
